Incense of the day: Lavender At this time of new beginnings, adorn your altar with an orange cloth, a sapphire, and a vase of flowers. These symbols honor Odin, the god who gave the human race the runic alphabet. Place the following runes in front of you left to right: Mann (m), for the self; Beorc (b), for growth; Eh (e), for transformation; and Ing (y), for fertility. As you meditate on the runes, say: "As I live so I manifest." Ing represents the completion of beginnings. It is important to remain centered now. Finally, place the rune Feoh (f), the rune of fulfillment, in front of you. Remember to share your good fortune with others. |
