LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Techno Crystals

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Ylang-ylang

Natural objects tend to absorb natural energy, and synthetic objects tend to store synthetic energy. To affect technology, use synthetic spell components and fill them with synthetic energy. Quartz crystals are great for most magical purposes, but when working with technology, try manufactured glass, such as Austrian crystal. Glass crystals can be cleansed, charged, and programmed just like natural crystals, but the methods differ. You can clean glass crystals with glass cleaner or expose them to incandescent or fluorescent light. Charge by setting them on your computer or an appliance. For programming, visualize computer code or a menu interface. You may add an incantation such as:

All things grow and change in time:
Blade of stone to blade of steel,
Altar bell to boot-up chime.
Each holds power, true and real.
Crystal facets clear and bright,
Hold the magic that I code.
Make it elegant and tight
In a technologic mode.
