On this day in Taiwan, family graves are visited and deceased loved ones are remembered. The graves are cleaned and decorated. Offerings of candles, flowers, incense, and food-especially pastries-are left at the graves. This is a good day to connect with and contact the spirits of your ancestors. If you can visit a loved one's grave, honor their memory with a small decoration and a bit of their favorite sweet treat. At dinner, set a place for them at the table; let them be the guest of honor. Celebrate their life by telling fun and happy stories about them. If you wish to contact them at this time, use a magic mirror, a pendulum, or meditation. You may notice their presence in subtle ways-a scent, a touch, or a flicker of light. Or they may contact you during a dream.
