Spell: Hard Work Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Saturday, ruled by Saturn, is traditionally a day of hard work. Saturn was known as the Lord of Death, his domain death and atonement. The changing weather mirrors the Saturnine energies of somberness, heaviness, and darkness, and demands we bundle up to atone (be "at one") with winter. Use Saturn's influence to power a spell of hard work. Whether storing summer clothes, preserving vegetables, or preparing machinery and tools for winter, today is the day for a tough job. Choose one task. Set a time limit of three hours, and dive in. Work hard, then reward yourself with something stimulating-ginger and lemon tea to warm, or dark chocolate to inspire.
