| The dark Moon is, of course, associated with the Crone aspect of the Goddess, but what do you associated with the waning Moon other than working for decrease or banishing? One archetype you might try tapping into is the priestess, or shaman, guide to the inner and underworld mysteries. Make time for an internal journey this waning Moon–day. Create a quiet space. Light a dark blue or black candle and incense such as patchouli or oak moss. Close your eyes and visualize your image of priestess or shaman. Invoke your guide with the following chant:
Great One as Priestess Shaman of my soul Guide me within to Where I shall be whole Chant until you feel yourself in a trance state, and then go where this aspect of the Goddess leads you. Be sure to have paper and pen nearby to record your experiences when you return from your inner journey. |
