Choose a habit you'd like to give up. Take a piece of sting (embroidery floss, yarn, whatever you can both tie and untie easily) in a color that fits with your habit (black or white are great neutrals). Tie four knots, as below, focusing on each intention as you tie that knot.
Knot 1: Mental aspects of this habit (why it appeals to you, reasons why you've kept it). Knot 2: Actions releated to this habit (things you do). Knot 3: How you feel about this habit, your emotions and concerns about giving it up. Knot 4: The practical aspects of this habit. Starting tomorrow, untie one knot each day, releasing the last one of the new moon on August 6. As you untie each knot, relase those thoughts, actions, emotions, and practical aspects from you. Destroy the cord when done. To strengthen, add a chant when you create the charm. |
