Spell: Harvest Celebration

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Adorn your home with all the traditional fall decorations, such as cornucopias, gourds and pumpkins, apples, nuts, corn, leaves, and mums. Add your own personal touches as well, with candles, stones, and so on. Pile everything in a basket or bowl or make a wreath.
Host a harvest dinner party with family and friends. Visit a local farmers' market. Celebrate with foods that are in season where you live, and enjoy some local wine. Use this chant when you sit down for your harvest feast:

"Balance of the day and night,
balance of the dark and light,
celebrate the harvest time,
raise a toast and sing this rhyme:
Welcome autumn, let us cheer, bounty for another year!"

Pour some of your ritual or celebratory beverage in your garden or into a potted plant as an offering for the next growing season.
