Spell: Hearth Fire Spell

Bring the spirit of the hearth fire into your home by honoring in your kitchen such goddesses of fire as Vesta, Hestia, Brigid, and Pele. Vesta and Hestia were the Roman and Greek home-fire keepers of their respective cultures. Priestesses in their temples tended perpetual flames from which citizens lit their home hearth fires. In your own kitchen, place an image of the goddess, a picture of her temple, and a special candle or oil lamp in an out-of-the-way spot where you can easily see it while cooking. Drawing on the power of the goddess in your kitchen will boost the vital energy of the food you prepare.
