| To bring about something you truly desire, in the evening lay a crystal on some black cloth as you meditate on the powers of the ancient gods. Settle down in the near-darkness and fix your gaze on the crystal, willing power into it. Take your time, and eventually it will begin to glow, perhaps dimly or more brightly, with a white, green, or gray mist about it. Then pick up the crystal and rub it between your hands, drawing its power into your body. Then put down the crystal, your hands are likely to be glowing by now, wait thirteen breaths as you built the power even more and shape it to your desire, then throw the power forth with your hands. Afterwards, light a candle or turn on the lights, and wash both your hands and the crystal in cold water to remove any residual glow. |
