Spell: Maiden, Mother, Crone: Loving Guides

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

We all deserve to feel love within ourselves and be able to receive it just as fully. Purchase (or grow) three roses or similarly beautiful flowers. When the flowers are at their peak of beauty, use natural twine (such as jute or cotton) to tie them together with three knots at nighttime, when the waxing moon rides high.

When tying the first knot, say:

To the mighty Maiden: Great
Goddess in her youthful form,
I offer these flowers to invoke
compassion in my heart, both
within myself and all around me.

Tie the second knot, saying:

To the mighty Mother: Great
Goddess in her life-giving form, I
offer these flowers to invoke strength
and resilience, that I am born of
love and will live love in this life.

Tie the third knot and declare:

To the mighty Crone: Great Goddess
in her wizened form, I offer these
flowers to invoke the wisdom of
cosmic love and bliss, that I ever
radiate pure love, inside and out.

Put the flowers in a natural place where you can feel the emerging signs of spring.
