A variant of chess practiced in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and devised by the order’s cofounder William Wynn Westcott. Based on chaturanga, the ancient Hindu version of chess, it is a game for four players in which the pieces are Egyptian gods and the board is derived from one of the four Enochianelemental tablets.
