At this time of year, late in July, the butterflies are hovering almost constantly over the coneflowers, and hummingbirds are flashing about the monarda and salvias. In late afternoon, the thunder spirit rumbles, promising needed rain. The richness of July makes this a potent time to work prosperity magic. As the Sun sets, smudge your altar with sage. Deck the altar with red and purple flowers. Two candles should be placed on the altar: one green, the other purple. Light the candles, and speak this charm:
