This stretch helps balance your energy, making your body feel more alive. To start, concentrate on your breathing and how the exercise makes you feel. Assume a kneeling position, feet tucked under your body. Breathing deeply, feel your spine stretch. Raising arms to shoulder level, turn your hands palm up. Bring arms over your head, interlacing your fingers. Slowly stretch to your right side, then left. Lower arms back to your sides, rolling your shoulders slightly. Repeat the stretch, starting with your left side. Return arms to your sides and stretch forward, placing your palms onto the floor and reaching as far as you can. It's a wonderful stretch for balancing energy; do it everyday. Whenever you need to center energy, take a deep breath and recall how it makes you feel. |
