Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Eucalyptus St. Pancras is the middle saint of the Three Chilly Saints whose feast days run on May 11, 12, and 13. The Germans call them the Iceman months. Folklore has it that these days are the coldest days in May. After May 13, finally it is safe to plant your annuals. Use this occasion as a time to bless your plants and seeds. Make an altar from your gardening bench, and arrange everything that is to be planted. Sprinkle holy water on your plants, and say: Leaf and bean, sprig and shoot, with my stewartship please take root. I wish you health with all I plant, grow and thrive when you hear my chant. Visualize all your plantings thriving and healthy. |
