Incense of the day: Patchouli Many people have fond memories of making s'mores at the campfire. I use a variation on this experience as a spell for change. For this, you need marshmallows and chocolate chips. Give each marshmallow chocolate chip eyes, nose, and mouth. Name each decorated marshmallow with a quality you want to personify, such as kindness, tolerance, unconditional love, the ability to accept compliments, etc. You can toast the marshmallows over a campfire, in the fireplace, or at the sacred Hibachi. There may be a way to toast them in the micro-wave, but I haven't figured it out. As you eat each marshmallow, visualize the desired trait entering your body. Then start taking the steps needed to make it come true. |
