Incense of the day: Rose Today is Harriet Tubman's birthday. She was born in slavery and escaped to freedom, then she helped others to freedom. She reminds us that no matter the circumstances of our birth we can find freedom through our own strength and determination. To find personal freedom, gather together a key and a rock. Hold the rock in your throwing hand. Lift it up and think hard of all the things that enslave you. Take the rock outside and throw it away from you, being careful that it does not land on or near your property. Turn around and walk away from it without looking back. Next, hold the key in your receptive hand. Lift it up and project into it of all the things you will do now that you are free. Hold the key close to your heart and breathe in that freedom energy. Place this key to freedom on your altar. |
