Incense of the day: Ylang-ylang The seventh day of the seventh month is a potent time to perform magic. Seven is the number of the mysteries-powerful but secretive. Since it is also a Friday, this would be a good day to draw a romance into your life. Spread out a cloth of deep maroon, and place a maroon candle, a piece of white paper, and an envelope on it. Also assemble a teaspoon each of orange peel, rose geranium leaves, and rosemary. Pour a glass of sweet red wine. Light the candle, sip the wine, and say: I am warmed by love's sweet fire. Bring me the love I desire. I taste the sweetness of love's wine, For the love I want is mine. Wrap the herbs in the paper and seal them in the envelope. Hide the envelope among your clothes. Love will come. |
