LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: In Memoriam

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Lavender
Incense of the day: Rose

In memory of those who have given their lives for the greater good, clear a table and cover it with a white tablecloth. Place a bouquet of flowers, perhaps forget-me-nots if you can find them, in the center of the table along with three candlesticks holding three white candles. As you light the first candle, say:

I light a candle for all those who have fought for freedom
Hail the honored dead!
Light the second candle, saying:
I light a candle for all those who have fought for tolerance and truth
Hail the honored dead!
Light the third candle, saying:
I light a candle for all those who have fought to protect those who cannot protect themselves
Hail the honored dead!

Take a moment to be silent, honoring their memories and giving thanks for all they have done for this world, and for you personally.
