Incense of the day: Pine If you are having unpleasant or dull dreams, try this trick. Keep a remote control for a TV or VCR by the bed. It doesn't matter if it works or not. Spend some time studying the controls and pick what they will represent in your dreams. "Mute," of course, turns off the sound; changing the channel would signify changing the dream; the "stop" button would wake you up; pressing "play" or tuning to your favorite channel would be the cue for a good dream. Remind yourself what the buttons are for each night, and, if you wish, keep the remote in your hand while you go to sleep. Otherwise, place it somewhere handy where you could reach it, like the bedside table. Train yourself in dreams to look at your hands and use the remote to direct your dreams. |
