| To help stop unnecessary or slanderous gossip by those around you, take a walk around 7:30 pm. Find the leaf of a plant that resembles (even slightly) a human tongue. At precisely 8:00 pm, pick this leaf from the plant and leave a small offering at its base. That evening, put some honey on your right index finger and spread it on the upper side of the leaf. While you are doing this, say something like:
By the power of Mercury, I affirm that [name] can only speak sweetly of me . . . Now, sprinkle a pinch of slippery elm on the leaf, which should stick to the honey. Roll up the leaf and tie it with a natural jute or hemp string, saying: . . . or you shall speak of me not at all. [Name]'s tongue is tied. Take this little spell to a public park and bury it in the ground. For more extreme situations, bury this little spell on the property of the person in question (if you are brave enough). Note: this spell also requires that you must be mindful not to speak slanderous gossip of the other person either. |
