Loving yourself is one of the most important things a person can do. Unfortunately, many of us forget to practice self-love-the feeling of total acceptance, compassion, and love for all that you are. Think about ways you beat yourself up mentally. Many of these self-imposed stresses are borne of the desire to fit in and feel loved by others. However, if it weren't for life's diversity-including diversity in physical forms, mental processing, and individual expressions-life would be bland. To help cultivate self-love, light a red (or pink) candle and meditate on reasons why you, and others, should accept and love you as you are. While none of us are perfect, we mustn't hate ourselves in the moment. Spend the day loving and adoring yourself. Take a bath, watch a movie, pig out on sweets, walk around naked, drink some wine (if you are of age), and cultivate a greater sense of self-worth and appreciation. Every one of us is sacred and has our own special gifts, abilities, and pieces of the Puzzle of Life.
