Loving fully means sometimes having a broken heart. Whether it's from a break-up, the death of a beloved family member or companion, or another type of loss- a broken heart smarts like nothing else.
Time is the master healer; and when it comes to grief, there is no substitute for it. Making a habit of these practices can help clean and dress the wound so that it heals as rapidly as possible while you wait: 1. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily. Into each bottleful, add two drops each of honeysuckle and star of Bethelhem flower essences. Continue until the bottles are empty. 2. Spend ten minutes each morning and evening sitting quietly and noticing your breath. Notice the in breath and the out breath. When your mind wanders from the breath, just bring it back. If feelings come up, allow them and continue to breathe. |
