Spell: Mojo Bag

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Mojo bags - also called medicine bags, spirit bags, conjure bags, reticules, or gris-gris (gree-gree) bags - are wonderful for safeguarding runes, jewelry, tarot cards, or any magical materials. Any witch needs several of these! Choose fabric of a type, color, and pattern that corresponds with your desired use; velvet or silk are excellent choices for tarot bags, while washable cotton fabric is good with herbs, resins, etc. Cut a 6 inch circle for a small bag and 10 to 12 inch circle for a larger one.
Use a sharp scissors to cut a series of small holes around the outer edge of the circle. Thread a cord through the holes and tie the ends in a square knot, the knot's four "sides" alluding to elemental protection. Bless the bag under a waxing Moon. Cradle the bag in both hands and focus on protection while incanting ad hoc ("for this particular purpose") three times.
