Spell: Pulse Point

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Place your pointer and middle fingers over the pulse point just below your thumb. Move them gently until you feel your pulse. Now pause, becoming aware of it. This movement, this rushing of food and oxygen through your body, this never-ceasing work done day in and day out, second in and second out, for every day of your life-this is your lifeblood you're feeling, and it's yours alone. Use this as a point of meditation. Sit quietly, feeling your pulse. Close your eyes and be aware of the pulsing life force surging through you. Envision the blood rushing through your veins and arteries, a perfect gift of ongoing life and energy. The vessels themselves represent earth, the oxygen they carry is part of air, the life-giving heart provides the life-spark fire, and the blood is your own water of life. Remove your fingers, breathe deeply, and be thankful.
