Spell: Make Your Mark

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page(whose birthday is today!) is known for his occult interests as well as his guitar skills. "Zoso," his personal glyph, means "to invoke"-an essential element for new moon magic.
Create your own glyph by combining letters, numbers, symbols, and/or images that hold meaning for you. (For inspiration, look at the personal glyphs created by J.R.R. Tolkien and John Dee.) When you've perfected your design, draw the glyph on a clean piece of paper, visualizing yourself in the lines of each element as you work. Leave it outside or by a window to take in the energy of the new moon.
Keep your glyph active and alive: Trace it in the air with your finger or write it in your book of shadows to seal spells, and carve it into candles to infuse intentions with your spirit. Include it in any magical writing.
