Spell: Eyebright Spell

Eyebright is a common plant that was once considered man's first medicine. Eyebright's Latin name, Euphrasia nemorosa, comes from a daughter of Zeus, Euphrosyne. She was known for her joy and mirth, two characteristics of those who have regained eyesight by applying eyebright. According to old beliefs, eyes that look upon eyebright will remain unhurt. Today, eyebright, mixed into water and placed over the eyes, will ensure one of good eyesight.
