It seems like every time we turn on the TV or click on a current events blog, the news is filled with reports of war. There are uncivil wars in nations around the world. Religious psychopaths are raping women and girls and killing men. Drones seem to be filling the skies. It's awful. While we can donate to agencies to feed hungry people or find homes for people who live on the streets, at the same time we need to do altar work to help heal the consciousness of our beautiful planet.
Every day of the year is a good day to sing that lovely song "Let There Be Peace on Earth," written by Jill Jackson Miller and Sy Miller in 1955.
