| Grasses help purify the air we breathe and they help our planet. Earth Day is a good day to perform this spell. Start by mixing a handful of grass seed with some garden soil in a clean pail or other container. Go to a wooded area near a stream or river. Bless the seed and soil by raising the pail toward the sky, then set it on the ground. Hold your hands above the seed and soil and say:
"Thank you, noble grass, for helping Mother Earth and all living creatures." Now sprinkle a bit of the grass seed mixture into the stream or river, carrying your blessing to the world. Next, sprinkle some of the seed/soil mixture on the ground as a thank-you to the earth. Lastly, save a small amount of the seed and soil for yourself to use in abundance and healing spells. |
