| Easter is a time of rebirth and new beginnings. It features many symbols of fertility and prosperity, such as flowers, rabbits, ducks, chickens, and eggs. That makes this an ideal opportunity for abundance magic. Begin by coloring at least a dozen eggs. You can now find kits to make gilded eggs; they include the basic dyes, plus a shimmer powder that looks quite gold over yellow dye. Say a blessing over each egg as you prepare it:
"Come, abundance, fill this shell. May its finder do quite well." If you wish, you may designate each egg with a different type of abundance, such as financial prosperity, healthy pets/livestock, or a loving home. Then gather the eggs together in a basket filled with green grass, which also symbolizes bounty. Hide the eggs in the traditional way. As each one is found, it will release its blessing into the right hands. |
