LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Planting Good Health

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The Roman goddess Carna celebrates her festival on this day. She is the goddess of health and protects the vital organs. Offerings made to her were beans and bacon, as the ancient Romans thought that these items promoted good health. She is the goddess to call on if someone is ill.

On a slip of paper, write the name of the individual for whom you are making your petition. Wrap the paper into the shape of a bean. Take this “bean” and plant it outside with other beans or a small piece of bacon. Carna will provide strength to the individual.
