Many believe that the hearth is the center of the home, and even if we aren’t the best chefs in the world, the kitchen is an important part of life. Though house blessings are commonplace, a blessing specific to the kitchen and our modern hearth—the stove/oven—can be useful to keep the energy harmonious.

First, thoroughly clean the kitchen with the intention of removing physical grime and any psychic buildup as well. Then boil a mixture of water, sliced oranges (with the peel), and rosemary sprigs in a pot on the stove. As the mixture begins to steam and bubble, encircle your kitchen by moving clockwise in a circular motion while mentally sending loving energy through an athame or wand. As you circle, say:
