Spell: Earth Day

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is Earth Day, the holiday we have set aside to honor our planet and Gaia, the Greek goddess who embodies abundance, nurturing ability, strength, and even destruction. So that you can always have a personalized Gaia around for your home, hearth, or altar, let’s make a figurine of her.

You will need:
* 4 cups flour
* 1 cup iodized salt
* 1 3/4 cup warm water
* Optional: acrylic paints, water, and brushes

Thinking of the importance of this day and the goddess Gaia, pour the flour into a bowl, followed by the salt, and mix with a wooden spoon. Add water and blend with the spoon. Turn out on a floured table and knead for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Focus as you form Gaia’s image. Create with intent and love. When your figurine is completely dry, begin using it, or paint it if you wish.
