Spell: Draw Sweetness to You

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The bathtub is my favorite cauldron—it’s an ideal place for working magic, in my opinion. This bathtub magic is a twist on the traditional honey jar spell, which is generally used to sweeten someone’s disposition toward you. In this case, the bath becomes the jar, and you become the focus to draw sweetness to you in general. The ingredients are pretty simple, and fresh is best if you can manage.

• Handful of rose petals
• Handful of honeysuckle blossoms
• 1 teaspoon honey

Sprinkle the flowers in the bathtub as you turn the water on, and deposit the honey near the tap so it dissolves more quickly. (If you don’t want to clean up a mess of flowers when you’re done, you can put them in a cotton mesh bag instead.) Get in the tub and soak for at least twenty minutes. Afterward, spread the flowers outside by your door.
