When you need to see a situation with the utmost clarity, turn to a water bath meditation. Set your scene with minimal lighting. If you use candles, ensure they are in a firesafe container with nothing nearby to light. For background sound, try an internet search for "clarity binaural beats." (While binaural beats are best used through headphones, you want them only as background, so skip the earbuds.) Fill your bath with warm water and sprinkle in a handful of sea salt. To maintain the clarity of the water, do not add any other herbs or oil. When you are ready, undress and climb into the tub. Close your eyes. Think about the situation you are seeking clarity on while using a finger from your dominant hand to slightly stir the water next to you gently and as quietly as possible. Do not focus on your finger stirring, but on the silence you can achieve while doing so. Every now and then, gently lift your hand from the water. Listen for the drops of water sliding down your fingers to splash back into the water. When you feel relaxed and ready, drain the tub. You may find, while you are quiet and listening or soon after, that new clarity will come to you. |
