Spell: Much Melon Magic

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Take the time today to savor a ripe melon, whether it comes from your garden or the nearby farmers’ market. Watermelon and honeydew are among the easiest to find pretty much anywhere, but there are many varieties from around the world to try. Melons make the perfect summer salad or dessert with added health benefits. Not only can you enjoy some delicious melon, but there’s an added bonus as well: collect the seeds and use them in magical workings to bring abundance, fertility, and prosperity.

Be sure to wash the melon seeds thoroughly and then set them out to dry on some towels. Once dry, store them in a glass jar in a cool place. You can include the seeds in satchels, jars, and other ingredient-based magical workings. Some varieties of melon produce seeds that are large and sturdy enough that you can draw symbols, words, or sigils on them with a fine-point marker.
