Saturdays are a good time to work banishing magick. If you need to cut a tie with a person, a poor habit, or a job, now would be the time to do so. Take three pieces of black or purple thread, string, or cord and hold them in your hands. Weave the pieces together into a braid symbolizing your physical, mental, and emotional ties to the person (or issue). Once the braid has been created, visualize yourself as separate from the person you want to move away from. See in your mind all the ways you are connected and how you can separate yourself from them. You can then either disentangle the strands or cut them apart. Once the strands are separated from one another, you are free of the person (or issue) as well.
