Spell: Reading Candle Wax

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Ceromancy is the art of interpreting the results of hot candle wax that has been poured into cold water. To do this, light a taper candle, hold it over a bowl of water, and let the wax drip freely into the water. An alternative method is to place a votive candle in a shallow glass jar lined with sand and to let that burn for a few minutes until a puddle of wax has formed at the top of the candle. As you pour the wax into the cold water, ask whatever question you wish. Be sure to pour a decent amount of wax into the water; one or two small drops is not enough for good results!

To interpret the shapes in the water, let your mind wander and trust your intuition. Things might not make sense immediately, and that’s okay. Be patient as your mind figures out what the drippings might mean.
