Spell: Veterans Day Remembrance Meditation

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today, as we honor veterans, perform this meditation in remembrance. Decorate your altar with red and white roses. You can use silk flowers if you can’t find real ones. If you have veterans in your life to honor, put photos of them on your altar or write their names on pieces of paper instead. Light a white candle for each of them. If you don’t know any veterans personally, simply direct your honor in a general manner. As the candles burn, meditate on the dedication and service of veterans. Here’s a prayer you can use during your meditation:

For all those who serve,

in the past and today, we honor

and value the price that they pay.

Please let their service not be in vain. Let them find comfort to heal their pain. Allow the candles to burn out safely. If possible, make a donation to a veterans’ organization.
