Spell: On the Road Jinxing Spell

A common form of "self-jinxing" occurs when you make an error and become so rattled by it that you make even more mistakes as a result. This is particularly unnerving when you do something improper in traffic such as accidentally running a stop sign or making a questionable turn in front of a police officer. To break such a spell, it's a good idea to find a convenient place to pull off the road and find something to divert your mind for a least ten minutes. If there are gift shops near by, consider stopping to buy a yellow candle in honor of Mercury, god of travel, and take it home to burn as a spell for clear thinking on the road. If you wish, inscribe it with the "R" rune Rad.
