Spell: Clean Slate Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Brown
Incense of the day: Almond

The beginning of September turns our thoughts to fresh starts, busy school years, and heightened activity in preparation for winter. Use the attributes of the season to create your own fresh start. Purchase a small chalkboard, a few sticks of chalk, and an eraser. Bless and consecrate it in your tradition. On the board, write all the things you want to change in your life. Read the list out loud three times. Take a deep breath. Then take the eraser and wipe your slate clean. Now write an affirmation on the board. Keep it in a prominent place, speaking the affirmation at least three times a day for thirty days. Use the chalkboard to remind you that you can "wipe away" what is outmoded in your life and replace it with something positive.
