Color of the day: Blue
Incense of the day: Lilac Tobacco has significant meaning in many cultures. When you are trying to cut down or quit, add some of the ritual back into smoking. Find a brand that you don't normally smoke-one that has no additives and is preferably organic. These will be your "evening smoke," and shouldn't be touched at any other time. Get a box of wooden matches. Don't light up after dinner until one hour before bedtime. Sit comfortably, outdoors if possible. Light your tobacco with a wooden match. As the cigarette burns, review your day: What went well today? Just acknowledge what happened. When you reach the end of the cigarette, say simply "thanks." Stub it out, brush your teeth, and sleep. |
