Spell: Benjamin Franklin’s Birthday Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Coriander

Benjamin Franklin is one of America's most famous statesmen. He was also a creator, a thinker, and a doer. Franklin loved two simple yet joyful activities almost more than life itself-reading and air baths. We can then use his example to honor his memory. Find some time today for a ritual inspired by Benjamin Franklin's love for books and air. Start by pull-ing a comfortable chair to a spot near a window. Open the window just enough to let in some cool air. Grab an interesting book, the newspaper, or some of your favorite magazines. Take off your clothes. Sit down and relax in the chair. Feel the gentle element of winter air interact with your body. Read. When it becomes too cold, simply close the window-but always continue to read and enjoy the fresh air that you've let inside your home.
