Spell: Essential Oil Calming Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Cinnamon

Fresh patchouli reminds me of moist, rich, hummus-filled earth. It grounds and energizes at the same time. It's a good oil to grab when life is full of chaos and I start to get a little frazzled around the edges. Check out an aromatherapy book for other essential oils that calm and ground, then go to the nearest New Age or health food store to see which of the oils you are drawn to. This is important: Do not just go by what the book says. You want to choose a scent that appeals to your own senses. Also, pick up a
bottle of grapeseed oil and an empty glass bottle. Fill the empty bottle with an ounce of grapeseed oil and twenty to forty drops of your chosen essential oil. As you mix the two, inhale the scent and envision it calming your stressed emotions. Set your bottle on the windowsill in the moonlight for a night to absorb the Moon's calm energies.
