Color of the day: Topaz
Incense of the day: Neroli When planning travel to foreign lands, concoct this protective toiletry vinegar two weeks before you take off. Some drops may be added to your bath water while on the trip, or if stored in a spray bottle it can be used for spraying the body before stepping outdoors. It can also be layered with perfume during trips to places with cool climates. To make the perfume, gather one cup orange peel, one cup lemon thyme, three drops bergamot oil, five drops lavender oil, two drops geranium oil, and five cups of quality cider vinegar. Put the orange peel and lemon thyme in a large jar and crush them with a spoon. Bring the vinegar to a boil, and then pour it into the jar and leave contents to cool before covering. Shake the jar once a day for two weeks before straining into glass bottles. Store the excess at home in the refrigerator. |
