Incense of the day: Maple The amethyst is also known as the "come-home-safely" stone. Take an amethyst and anoint it with a protective oil. Place the stone on a piece of white cloth. Sprinkle honeysuckle, sage, and vervain on it. Tie the four corners together to make a little bag. Bless the bag, and place it in your pocket. Say: "Safe I travel to and fro, I will come home safely, this I know. By this rite, it is so." Forget about the stone. Replace the bag every three months. The same sachet can be used for protection during astral travel. Tuck it under your pillow, and replace it every three weeks. |
