Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Clove This fragrant bath is conducive to healing, meditation, and the soothing of the blues. It also calms the nerves and restores inner equilibrium after a hectic day. Gather one cup of lavender flowers, one cup of carnation, one cup of chamomile, half a cup of valerian root, and six bay leaves. If possible, use fresh flowers. If they are not available, substitute with dried ones. When flowers are in season, pluck and store them in the freezer for future use. Put all the ingredients into a white cotton bag and tie it with a piece of string. Attach the string to the tap, and run the bath water over the bag. Two drops of geranium essential oil in the warm bath will benefit those with dry and flaky skin conditions. Visualize yourself washing away all of your troubles and your worldly burdens. |
