Incense of the day: Violet Give yourself this wonderful Christmas present and see how good you feel afterward. Braid a cord the length of your body with black, red, and white ribbons. Pre-pare the braid before Christmas Eve. Make a list of thirty-one wishes that you want to see manifest this coming year. On Christmas Eve, light a red candle. Say each wish and knot your cord. Visualize how it will feel as each wish comes true. When you are finished, make nine additional knots to bind the spell, and say: By knot of one, the spell's begun. By knot of two, it cometh true. By knot of three, thus shall it be. By knot of four, ‘tis strengthened more. By knot of five, so may it thrive. By knot of six, the spell we fix. By knot of seven, the stars in heaven. By knot of eight, the hands of fate. By knot of nine, it shall be mine! Goddess, bless this gift I give. May it bring joy and love to my loved one. |
