To usher in prosperity and abundance, welcome Lakshmi to your life using tulsi. Lakshmi is embodied in basil, rice, coins, and other symbols of prosperity and fertility. To invoke Lakshmi's blessings, infuse cup basil leaves in four cups of water. Strain and add half teaspoons of peppermint and basil essential oil. Wash your altar, ritual space, or hearth with this tulsi spiritual wash. Place raw grains basmati rice in a small dish on your tulsi-scented altar along with an array of shiny coins. Also, you can try what many Indians do to assure a pleasant night of sleep. Place a tulsi leaf on your chest at bedtime. Tulsi on the chest promises pleasant dreams and protects against evil. |
