Spell: Joseph Campbell’s Birthday

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Basil

The mythologist Joseph Campbell used many myths and legends to illustrate the potential that each of us has, and encouraged people to "follow your bliss." As we sit with our family in the evenings, we can read to our kids or grandkids these same stories, these myths and legends that are the foundations of our beliefs and practices today. There are also modern "myths" that we can read to our kids. Look for stories that spark the mind and take the imagination beyond the limits of traditional education. Encourage your children and grandchildren to dream, and to follow their bliss. Healthy young minds need this "dream stuff" so they may never know limitations on their imaginations. An unlimited imagination has endless possibilities.
