Spell: Healing After a Storm

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Rose

Thursday is named for Thor, Germanic thunder god, similar to the Roman sky god Jupiter. Thor's hammer is a symbol for the creative and destructive powers of nature. Think of storms in your life as having this same destructive yet creative power. Renewal follows the storm, even when there is destruction. Meditate on this cycle when you need to find balance and seek solace after a storm in your life. Use the hammer as a symbol if you wish. Visualize a storm-high winds, rain, thunder, lightning, and hail-but see it moving away from you. Note that where lightning has caused a fire; that same fire has caused dormant seeds to sprout. Imagine your personal storm that way. See the rain washing away the old and the new seeds sprouting, as in the natural world.
